Salvador Dali + Star Wars = ? There are a million Star Wars remakes of masterpieces. Here’s one of my favs: Here’s a secret…I love this stuff! Does that make me a geek? Not sure I’m qualified to answer that. Is blending high art with low-brow cultural icons legit? I think so—there’s a place for upstream art and downstream art, but when talented people blend the two, it keeps everyone a little more honest, a little less snooty (on both ends), and we all get to remember that we are all of us simply human after all and worth a good-natured laugh.  pacalin: Surrealist AT-ATs…now that’s a new one.
